Christofle Silver-Plated Gallia Pine Bread Basket

The Gallia collection by Christofle owes its title to the metal of the same name that was used extensively during the Art Deco movement - a period in which the label experienced exceptional success. It should come as no surprise, then, that the pieces that comprise the collection pay homage to the labels favoured artistic movements of the past, with this bread basket taking style cues from the pine tree style, a regionalist variant of Art Nouveau that was founded in Switzerland in the 1900s.
