The LEGO Galaxy Explorer Set 10497 was released to celebrate LEGO’s 90th anniversary and pays homage to the Classic 497 LEGO Galaxy set from 1979.

Designed for builders over 18, the set contains 1,254 pieces and includes two red astronauts, two white astronauts, a robot, and a space rover. The spaceship comes with an extendable ramp, which deploys the space rover. A sliding door is between the living space and the cargo area. The living space comes with computers, two beds, and storage space. The astronauts also have other accessories, including cups and tools. The cockpit opens and has four seats for the astronauts. Most of the spaceship features grey blocks; however, many of the blocks are also blue.
