Candle Snuffer: Extinguish lit candles safely and cleanly. Holding the chain just above the cone - taking care not to hold the cone itself - place the cone carefully over the flame to extinguish. Avoid the cone making contact with the candle's hot wax and avoid touching the cone when hot. Leave to cool on a heatresistant surface. Wick Trimmer: Trim sooty, burnt wicks safely and cleanly. Extinguish the lit candle. Wait for the wax to cool completely. Holding the scissors carefully, trim the burnt part of the wick and catch the sooty substance in the small bowl of the scissor blade. Once cooled down, the wicks will be good as new, faster to light, and less prone to smoke. Leave the Wick Dipper to cool on a heatresistant surface and clean free of wax with a soft, dry cloth
